Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had modern and clean rooms with a spacious bathroom, but the noise from the pub/hotel opposite could be a bit disruptive. The friendly and attentive service greatly outweighed this downside. The central location in Ludlow was perfect for exploring the town, despite some worn bedspreads in the room.
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The location was convenient being right on the edge of the town center and a short walk from the railway station and other attractions. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, despite being a bit noisy due to the kitchen extractors until late at night. The service was exceptional, with staff being incredibly helpful and friendly. The dining experience was good overall, with some delicious traditional Marche products. However, the lackluster dining service was a downside. The facilities were decent, offering what I needed for a brief trip.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The room I stayed in, number 144, a superior double, was beautifully appointed despite needing some updates. It was quite a trek down corridors and stairs from the Reception, though.
The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Ludlow, ideal for a short break. While the rooms had lovely decor and amenities, the noise from the Kitchen Extractor Fan right outside our room was quite disruptive. The service was fantastic, with friendly and accommodating staff. The dining experience offered plenty of options but had some issues with food temperature. Overall, a great location but not without its drawbacks.
The hotel had rooms that were an adequate size for a couple, which I was grateful for at the time in the atmospheric hotel. The service, under very difficult circumstances, was wonderful and very accommodating. The location was excellent and had a car park onsite, perfect for our short visit down to expectations of a hotel of the standing of the Feathers. The dining featured a reasonably stocked buffet table and assortment of traditional hot dishes on request, all perfectly adequate.
